Since we were bound by a treaty with Russia, we found ourselves at war with Germany and Austria-Hungary was backing them up. When war broke out France, Britain, and Russia were allied againest Germany and Russia. Germany had attacked us in southern Belgium. Soon later we had stopped Germany along the River just north of Paris. Our leader was George Clemenceau.
